2000-2005-specialization in therapy, then internship and research work in the specialized departments of the University Clinic "Charite" and at the Departments of Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases of the Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany).

2005-2010-specialization in cardiology, then-independent medical and research activities, including as head of the polyclinic department of the Heart Institute (Berlin, Germany).
