General information
Leading Clinician-scientist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases. He is actively working on improving methods for treating skin diseases, including cancer. For the promotion of medical research, the Professor was awarded one of the most prestigious scientific prizes in Switzerland – the Otto negeli prize. He is the author of more than 220 scientific publications. His research is funded by the Swiss national science Foundation, the Swiss cancer League, and the European Union.
Education and work experience
He was educated at the University of Geneva, faculty of internal medicine, basic research and dermatology.
He created his own research group, with which he conducted research simultaneously with clinical activities at the Department of dermatology at the University of Geneva under the supervision of Professor Saurat.
